From Finland in the north to Italy in the south, from Lithuania in the east to France in the west, there is a renaissance in the European nuclear power industry.  

Nuclear Power Europe is a new conference and exhibition focused on a European nuclear power industry reinvigorated by the climate change agenda.  Co-located with POWER-GEN Europe, Nuclear Power Europe comprises a high level conference and an exhibition addressing the strategic and technical challenges and opportunities facing the nuclear power industry in Europe.

Nuclear Power Europe will encompass the whole sweep of new build nuclear power: the role of nuclear power in Europe’s future energy mix, implementing the supply chain, competing reactor designs from right across the continent, balance-of-plant opportunities, regulation, financing, addressing the skills gap and public relations.

A key element of this brand new conference is that it will bridge the gap between the past, present and future of nuclear energy in Europe. The existing fleet of nuclear power stations will be at the forefront of proceedings: maintenance, uprating and life extension opportunities across Europe, as well as decommissioning, waste and other legacy issues will be discussed in detail.
